World Travel Awards Announces 2020 Winners

The World Travel Awards (WTA) – The most prestigious award ceremony dedicated to the global tourism industry and all the sub-sectors which comprise it, has unveiled its ultimate winners of 2020.

The annual event held by the WTA brand was first started in 1993 to acknowledge, reward and immortalize excellence within our beloved Travel & Tourism industry. They aim to recognize individual and collective success through nominations and year-round voting systems. The events are divided between geographical regions and continents that compete with each other in a series of gala ceremonies at key locations: The Caribbean (Bahamas), Europe (Antalya, Turkey), Africa & Indian Ocean (Nairobi, Kenya), Latin America (Santiago, Chile), North America (British Columbia, Canada), Asia & Oceania (Seoul, South Korea) and Middle East (Dubai).

By the time every region announces their respective winners, they will come face to face in Moscow (Russia) for the final stage: The World title @ the Grand Tour.

The release of the final winners is usually done at the end of November, and the event possesses the greatest potential for networking opportunities for everyone involved in the Travel sector; With attendees ranging from regional and national governments, supranational entities, industry professionals, international press and news broadcasts.
